Zinc Die Casting

Zinc die casting is a casting made by dissolving zinc, pressurizing, and putting it into a mold.
Since zinc can be easily ionized, wash it with slightly alkali solution, and get it strike copper-plated not to cause substitution reaction before copper plating.
In many cases, the casting expands after plating due to tiny holes on the material’s surface.
zinc alloy for die casting contains 3.5-4.5% of aluminum.
In plating of complex shape or precise and thin die casting part, electroless plating can be operated.
Zinc die casting is generally used in cameras, home appliances, or automobile components since it is suitable for casting of thin item with high size precision.
